Craniosacral Therapy in London

INTRODUCTION

Craniosacral therapy is a form of light energised projected touch that penetrates tissue to about 6" melting tissue tension and erasing pain. It can erase tissue memory, release fascial tension, relax skeletal muscle, align bones, soften tendons, and release trapped rage from the sacroiliac joints. This energised touch can be projected through bandages and clothes, and can be administered lying, sitting or standing.

Craniosacral therapy has been around for about 40 years, originally developed by Dr John Upledger and colleagues. Its a fusion of cranial osteopathy and psychotherapy as a touch based form of body psychotherapy. Worldwide there are over 250,000 therapists now trained in this dicipline, thousands are nurses, physiotherapists, osteopaths, and chiropractors but very few are doctors and surgeons.

Visceral release is a development of craniosacral therapy derived from visceral manipulation, that enables the therapist to release trapped emotions from our organs, eliminating terror, fear, anxiety etc trapped in the abdomen. Sadly there are only a hundred of us in the UK, and 10 in london.

Personally I'd recommend craniosacral therapy after all major surgery, car accidents, trauma, whiplash, back pain etc. I suggest visceral release after any chemotherapy, for anxiety states, stress management, fatigue, post traumatic stress disorder, coma and soul retreat. I have indicated in both my examples, and implications for medicine the widespread uses of both craniosacral therapy and visceral release.

I currently have a private practice in east london, close to bethnal green tube station. Visits are usually 45 minutes, and all consultations are done fully clothed. If you would like to see me please e mail me.
